Cancun Airport remains open 24 hours a day. So, if you plan to sleep here overnight then you can sleep in the terminal areas. Terminal 1 does not have good sleeping spot. Terminals 2 & 3 are suitable for comfortable sleeping. In Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, you can find padded seats with armrests. Terminal 2 also has some double seats that you can stretch out quickly. Some padded short benches without armrests are also available in Terminal 2.
The airport remains very loud and cold at night. So if do really have any plans to sleep at CUN overnight then don’t forget to bring noise-canceling headphones or earplugs, eyeshades, a blanket, sweater etc sleeping gear.
