New Chitose Airport is a public international airport that was founded in 1988. The airport is located 5 km south-southeast of Chitose and Tomakomai, Hokkaidō, Japan. In terms of total passenger traffic, the airport is the fifth busiest airport in Japan. The airport yearly serves more than twenty-two million passengers. New Chitose Airport has two modern terminals which are domestic terminals and international terminals.
The domestic terminal is smaller than the international terminal and is connected to it via an indoor walkway. You will find many amenities like eateries, shops, movie theaters, spas, a free dressing room, a museum, and free Wi-Fi throughout the airport area.
