Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(NBO) stays open for 24 hours a day. So if you are lucky then you will find some good sleeping spots near cafes and restaurants(most of them get close at night early) for overnight sleeping. Between the two Terminals Terminal 1 is more comfortable than Terminal 2. Terminal 1 has a separate building and once you are inside security you can not move around.
If you are flying from Terminal 1 International then you will find some good sleeping spots here. In Terminal 1A you can sleep on the Pride Lounge. In this lounge, a napping area is available with some lounge chairs that you can push together to get some decent sleep. You can access the lounge by paying at the door or via any access way if you do have one.
You can also sleep on the floor area, don’t forget to bring a sleeping bag or blanket as a backup plan. Also, try to bring noise-canceling headphones or earplugs to combat with frequent announcements and noise.
