Keep in mind if you stay in the presecurity area or landside area then look an eye on your belongings as many non-travelers surf the area.
In the Terminal 2, you will find some armrest-free seats(armrests after three seats). The GRU Airport terminals area cools down at night with the air conditioning running throughout the area. So come prepared with a sleeping bag or mat and blanket. Also, come prepared with an eyemask and an earplug or noise-canceling headphones as an extra caution.
